Conservative Hybrid Funds
Invest in a blend of Debt and Equity. Minimum 75% of debt allocation in this fund is for investors who wish to take less risk.
Aggressive Hybrid Funds
Invest in a blend of Equity and Debt with a possible maximum allocation of 80% in equities. These funds are for aggressive investors and longer holding period.

What are Hybrid Funds?

Hybrid Funds are commonly known as Balanced Funds as they invest in a combination of asset classes i.e. Equities and Debt. One of the biggest advantages of these funds is the Fund Manager can construct the portfolio depending on prospects of economy, stock market outlook and interest rate scenario. The Fund can increase allocation towards equities if the stock market looks promising or reduce allocation if the prospects are not encouraging enough in near future. Accordingly, the weightage of debt instruments will vary as per economic situation.
